I think that it may be that since the economy has taken a down turn we have been doing a lot of smaller remodel jobs. It is easy to post pictures and tell you whats going on when we are on larger jobs. The weather in Humboldt County hasn’t exactly been helping on the project calendar either.
The phone is starting to ring more and we are hoping for sunnier skies, so here is to a busy and exciting summer. Hopefully we will have plenty of pictures to post.

We replaced the aluminum siding with a Typar moisture barrier and Breckenridge plain wood siding. All the windows and doors were replaced and are energy star rated. I will follow with a picture after the painter has come in.

This customer really likes redwood and needed a porch with a little room for the landing. Built in Sunny Blue Lake.

We took this old bath tub surround apart and rebuilt it with Hardi backer and then covered it with the Schluter-Kerdi water proofing system. It was a little more work than the way we used to do things but we like it and will try to use it from now on. The owner was very happy with the results.
